JCI NIGERIA

The organization was introduced in Nigeria on 9th March, 1957 by Otuba Bolaji Adewunmi as the first Non Governmental Organization in Nigeria. it started with the first chapter, the Lagos Metropolitan Junior Chamber and was introduced to the higher institutions of learning in 1979 as a collegiate structure.

Junior Chamber International Nigeria has been the Nation's largest membership organization of its kind with the representation in 28 states of the federation. As a group of visionary young entrepreneurs, the JCI Nigeria in 1990 initiated and undertook a project "2010AD" The benefits of this project was later shared with the Federal Government of Nigeria in another visionary programme as in collaborative effort when the government later organized it's own vision 2010.
